Fan Art Friday: Elena by Aohitsuki and ShopFox 2

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! As this is the last Friday of the month of July, here are the final two fan arts for this month. One of them was a pen sketch and the other was a response to another fan art that I created a couple of months ago.

The first fan art is a competition entry for a competition that is being held on DeviantArt. The contest is being held by Aohitsuki. The aim for the contest is to do your own interpretation of her own original character Elena. I decided to draw her on by herself. She is wearing a shirt with a easy-to-put-on corset. This is included with jeans and boots. Limited colours have been added. For the background of this drawing, I wanted to be as creative as I can be. I'm very pleased with the results.:

The second and final fan art for today is the second ShopFox fan art. This website was created by a friend of mine who has travelled around the world and has also created a website dedicated to the coffee shops in crouch end. The same colours as the last drawing, have been use for this drawing, however they have been altered. I wanted a starry background for this drawing. There have also been changes in this drawing too. I hope you like them.:

As I mentioned in my last post. I've been contemplating whether or not to continue. I decided............to keep going for another year. I might stop halfway within February to do another retrospective from this month and beyond. There's a lot more fan art that I would like to create and show.

There will be more fan art next Friday. Thank you for visiting and please leave a comment. ;)

Fan Art Friday: Woody and Little Bo Peep from Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 by Pixar, Rosie and Jim by Ragdoll Productions, Sooty by Harry Corbet and BBC Proms 2014

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone, today I'll be showing you four drawings. These are all created usuing pencil the inked in orange ink. It's sort of like the other drawings that I created in blue. I hope you'll like them.

The first drawing is of Woody and little Bo Peep from Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 by Pixar. The movies that they have created so far has always been brilliant and I think the one that stands so far for me is the very first one. I was seven years old when this movie came out. Although I never watched it in the cinema, my father bought it for myself and my brothers when it was released on video. There was a lot of merchandise of Toy Story back then. Other than Woody I've always love Bo Peep. She was his girlfriend. There were small snippets of the love appearing from time to time. The music to the film has always made me smile. The theme song to the film was some brilliant. Now it'll be probably be weird of me saying this but I have yet to watch the third movie. I still haven't watched it. ^_^; However the reason as to why I wanted to draw these two was because some time this year I hope to read a new book that was written by someone from Pixar. Also it seemed necessary to pay homage to Toy Story movies. There were a couple of documentaries back in the early 2000's of how a the movie came together and I always find this fascinating. So here's the drawing. It was drawing from memory:

The next fan art is of Rosie and Jim by Ragdoll Productions. This was another programme that I watched during my primary school days. It was very interesting to watch and I guess it was probably one of the shows that I really enjoyed from Ragdoll Productions. From what I can remember from my child hood there were two boat narrators. There was a catch. Both of them were children's Illustrators. The first one communicated with the audience and told stories about where he was going as well as making stories involving Rosie and Jim. The second narrator had left me quite astounded back then. This boat narrator was in fact a female. She created an illustration before she left the boat and when she returned. Rosie and Jim seemed to be present within the drawings but the illustrator had a great habit of hiding the other character Duck. From there it was up to us to find where he was. I admired her for the was she illustrated both of them. She was one of the earliest Illustrators of my childhood to appear on TV and draw. The troubled thing about this was that I'd forgotten her name. So here's Rosie and Jim in monochromatic orange:

The next fan art is of Sooty, Sweep and Soo from the series Sooty. The character Sooty was created by Harry Corbet. This was another great show to watch when I was young and it was always exciting. This series has stood out from many generations because the younger generation of to day now know who Sooty is. There were always things he and Sweep get into that seemed to be very funny. Soo also played a part in this too. The programme that I saw that featured Sooty, Sweep and Soo was Matthew Corbet and he was the one that I can remember really well in most of the shows. Today there's a recent show with the same name but with someone else. He's name is Richard. This drawing includes Sweep, Soo and Sooty himself.:

The fourth and final fan art for today is of BBC Proms 2014. It begins today and I thought that it would be great to draw a very young conductor trying to  draw the orchestra within the music. Today I was listening to Woman's Hour and involved some violinists and cellists from the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra who will be taking part in BBC Proms. I felt inspired to draw this even thought there's a small link to it.:

Next week will mark a year since I've started Fan Art Friday. Hopefully by then I'll reveal where or not I will continue. Thanks for visiting my blog and please leave a comment.

Fan Art Friday: Bungle and George from Rainbow by Pamela Lonsdale

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be posting two fan arts from a children's programme. Both of these sketches were pen sketches and then changed during Photoshop.

These two characters are Bungle and George from the children's programme Rainbow by Pamela Lonsdale. This is an response to the drawing of Zippy that I created last year during this month. After drawing of Zippy, I felt that it would be great to draw the other characters. Both turned out to be really good but I think I've made Bungle very creepy. He was drawn from memory. I'm quite impressed with George. He looks likes he's sparkling.:

There will be more fan art next week thanks for visiting and please leave a comment.

Fan Art Friday: Button Moon by Ian Allen, Wimbledon 2014 Pegasus Maximillion from Yu-Gi-Oh by Kazuki Takahashi and Competition Entry: Carly by me and Alan by Fi-Di

Happy July and Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be posting up four drawings. All of these drawings were pencil sketches then modified on photoshop. Two of the drawing have a space-dreamy theme.

The first drawing that I'll be showing today is of Mr Spoon, Mrs Spoon and Tina-Tea Spoon from the children's programme Button Moon. In this programme the characters are made up of everyday utensils. Each episode reveals an adventure of what Mr Spoon and his family go through. These episodes are quite interesting. I'm amazed of this show is put together. The programme was broadcasted on Thames TV back in the early 80's. Just like the programme Rainbow. The show was also shown the early 2000's on Nick Jr classics. I'm very impressed with this drawing and I'm very happy and pleased that I'll be showing it to you.:

The next drawing is based on Wimbledon 2014. It been going really well so far. I am quite gutted that Murray didn't get through nevertherless. It is an interesting to watch. Back in 2012, I worked at Wimbledon. This was during the Olympics. Seeing Wimbledon now made me miss working there. Even one of my friends asked if I was working there this year. One was because I felt that it is good for anyone to find a sport and play. It really doesn't matter how old you are. I'm looking forward to see how Wimbledon will end. It is very very exciting:

The next drawing is of Pegasus Maximilllion from the anime and manga Yu-Gi-Oh. He's another very interesting character in the series and he came to mind as I drew in as a pencil sketch. He's actually a villain in the first series. In the manga he's seen the the second series Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist. I've only read up to volume 3 or 4 and I've yet to see what will happen oto Yugi and his friends. or what plans Peagasus will unnfold. Just like Seto Kiba. He's a millionaire. In this drawing, I drawn him from memory. It is almost accurate...almost. I thought that I will do a gold background with beige sparks. Here it is:

The fourth and final fan art of today is of Carly and Alan. On Deviantart there's an artist that I'm following. Her name is Fi-Di and she is from Italy. She has created a huge wave of characters for the past couple of years. She's created a competition called 'Date My Character'. She has asked  fan of per FB page, to chose a character created by her and use their own character. The characters should even hang out together or be doing something that it is quite interresting. In my cotest entry. I used my character Carly from a project that I did a couple of years ago with Fi-Di's character Alan. I drew a space-dreamy background for this drawing. It would be great if you could vote for this picture on FB.:

There will be more fan art next week. Thank you for visiting and please write a comment! \(^0^)/

First of the Month Drawings: Happy July Everyone!

Happy July Everyone! Here's the first day of the month drawing. It's of two fairies. I wanted to create something that takes reference to history so I made the guy fairy have a jacket that is similarly regal. His hairstyle I made up myself. The lady's hairstyle reminded me of Twiggy's hairstyle use to look like back in the 60's. Also her dress is very similar to the female villain that I created a while ago. There are two versions of the same drawing. One in colour and the other in grayscale. I hope you like it:

I'm very impressed with the both of them. Have a brilliant month everyone and make the most of it. (^_^)
