Fan Art Friday: Susan from Smokey Digital Seahorse written by Richy K.Chandler and Illustrated by Steve Horry

Happy Fan Art Friday everyone! Today I'll be posting one fan art today. This drawing was in pencil then it became a digital drawing on Photoshop.

The fan art is of Susan from Smokey Digital Seahorse. It's written by Richy K. Chandler and illustrated by Steve Horry. The comic is part of the Tempo Lush Tales collection that Richy has written. I loved this story it made me smile encouraged to make a fan art. In this drawing Susan is seen wearing a dress from the sixties also boots that you can see slightly from the bottom of the drawing. When I saw Susan in the comic I immediately visualised her wearing sixties clothes. I assume it was because if her hairstyle. I also created a autumn leave background which suited this season. I hope you like the drawing.:

There will be more fan art next week. Thank you for visiting my blog and please write a comment.

Fan Art Friday: Little Bill and April from Little Bill by Bill Cosby and Dorothy Wayneright and Rodger Smith from Big O by Chiaki J. Konaka and Webcomic Update:

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today, I'll be showing you two fan arts, one of them is an anime and the other is a cartoon. It also in book form too.

The first fan art is of Little Bill and April from the cartoon series Little Bill by Bill Cosby. This is another series that I spotted during my teens. It was shown on Nick Jr. I thought that this series was really interesing. The stories were great and also the background music was Jazz. You would have heard a lot of it. It sounded cool. Another thing that sparked interest was that Little Bill talked with the audience. That do not usually happen but he seems really cool. I couldn't help but hug him. Although April was bossy she still was a great sister too. I really enjoyed this series. There was the books that were written by Bill Cosby, I admit I haven't read them but I think they have the same spark as the series too. ;) :

The second and final fan art for today, is of Dorothy Wayneright and Roger Smith from the anime Big O by Chiaki J. Konaka. This series was another show that I saw in my teens. I remember recording the series and giving it to a great friend too. ;) It was hugely based on old films from the west in the 1950's and 1960's. It was mainly a detective story and Roger Smith was a negotiator. There was also a noir feeling to the series too. Dorothy is an Android and she is the side-kick to Roger Smith. The Big O theme song was awesome. I loved it so much. It was was created by Rui Nagi and it certainly drew me to watch the series. It fitted the series very well. The series was itself was produced by Sunrise and there was twenty-six episodes altogether.:

Webcomic Update: The webcomic that I mentioned to you in late January will be up on Monday. Although the welcome front cover is up right now. There will be a mini-welcome front cover up on Sunday before the first comic page on Monday. There will be a post here about it on Monday too.

There will be more fan art next week thank you for visiting and please comment.

Fan Art Friday: The Chocolate Show 2014, Lucy the Octopus and Tim from Not Going to Wondonia by Richy K. Chandler & Illustrated by Karen Rubins

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be posting three fan arts. One of them is based on an event, the other two is of stories that was written and drawn artists that I've met earlier this year. They all have the same background

The first fan art is of The Chocolate Show. I will be working there as a steward today at this show. I'm not sure of what to expect but I'm very excited. I decided to create this drawing of the three types of chocolate that I've eaten. This is Dark, Milk and White Chocolate. I thought that I'll express this in form of the characters that I've made at random in this drawing. I think this show is a family-based show so there might be a lot of children present. This might be very interesting. Another reason as to why I made this drawing is that this week is also National Chocolate Week and the show is to represent the climax.:

The next fan art is of the comic strip Lucy the Octopus by Richy K. Chandler. The comic strip has been going for quite a while and it's really good. I first met Richy at the Cartoon Museum earlier this year. He was teaching a class about comics and when we spotted each other. He showed me some of his issues of Lucy the Octopus and I was intrigued. He also done a Launch party of this comic and another two comics that he had written. One of stories is a fan art have a look after this drawing.:

The third and final fan art for today is of Tim from the story Not Going to Wondonia by Richy K. Chandler. The story was illustrated by the comic artist and illustator Karen Rubins. This story is part of a series of stories in an anthology called Tempo Lush Tales. All of them were written by him and illustrated by various of artists. This story is very interesting, Tim is a very humorous character he gets to learn about responsibility in a awesome way. Tim is portrayed here in the style of how he is visualised in the comic. I hope you like. If you would like to order some of Lucy the Octopus and Tempo Lush Tales then click here.:

There will be more fan art next week. Thank you for visiting my comment and please write a comment.

Fan Art Friday: Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin by A.A Mile and Disney & Fabian and Iselle from A Pocketful of Clouds by Morag Lewis

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be posting two Fan arts. Both of them were pencil sketches then changed on Photoshop. Both drawings have the theme of blue sky and clouds.

The first fan art is of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin. I grew up watching the series when I was very young and it is another childhood favourite. The series of when I first saw them both was called 'The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh'. The series was fun to watched and I loved theme song. I came across the books much later in my childhood. Also I had a video tape that included not only these two characters but also some of the other characters. The name of the cartoon was called "Winnie The Pooh and the Blustery Day'. What was awesome about this cartoon was because in the beginning where the credits were shown, Christopher Robin's room was created into reality. Of course it was just for the video but. It did spark my imagination back then and I remember as if I saw it yesterday.  There was a book version of the cartoon too.:

The second and final art work for today is of Fabian and Iselle from the webcomic 'A Pocketful of Clouds' by Morag Lewis. I have been reading the webcomic for quite a while and I thought that it would be great to create another fan art of this comic. I don't want to give to much away of these two characters but these two are siblings. If you would like to have a look at the webcomic click here. The drawing is portrayed differently to what I thought of. But either way I'm happy.:

There will be more fan art next week. Thank you for visting and please leave a comment.

Fan Art Friday: Garfield by Jim Davis

Happy October, Happy Black History Month and Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be showing only one fan art today. This fan art was a pen sketch then modified on Photoshop.

Today's Fan art is about the comic strip and cartoon series Garfield by Jim Davis. I came across this series back in the 90's. It was a show that I really enjoyed thoroughly.  There were many other funny and exciting characters in the series but Garfield will always be my favourite. I loved the concept that Garfield was not like any other cat. I loved the fact that he ate all kinds if food that humans would eat. I loved the fact that he loved lasagne. I remember while I was at my auntie's house a couple a months ago I saw the new version of Garfield and I was very surprised to see it in 3D. I thought it was good and it's quite nice to show to a new generation of kids. Here's the drawing. I hope you like it:

There is be more fan art next week. Thank you for visiting, have a great month and please leave a comment.

Manga Jiman 2014 (Part 2): Violinist Amethyst

Happy October Everyone! I hope you'll all have a brilliant month. Today I'll be posting some sketches of the second Manga Jiman Entry that I'll be working on after the first one.

This story will be about a twelve year old boy called Amethyst, who has a keen interest in playing the violin. The reason as to why I decided to make a comic about a violinist is because at the age of twelve I began playing the violin. I played for much of the school year but stopped when I reached year 11. The reason....well the violin that I used to play did not belong to me but it belonged to the school. Do miss playing this instrument. I felt that I need to pay homage to this wonderful instrument as well as my old violin teachers Miss Hockridge and Anda. It's also dedicated to anyone who is playing an instrument to the best of their ability and having great enjoyment. There will be several reasons as to why he plays this instrument but the main reason will be revealed in the comic. Here are the sketches of Amethyst:

In case, if you are wondering Amethyst has appeared in another story click here to see. He may look slightly different as to how he originally looked but I felt that it would be interesting to put him in comic form. Here are two other sketches of him playing the violin. The first drawing makes the character look a lot older. However the next drawing looks nice:

Another character that will be introduced will be his violin teacher. She is a huge help for him. Here are the first and final sketches of this character:

Although I did say in my last post that I'll be entering both. I've now decided that when I've finished both entries I will pick either this one or the other to enter into the competition. Both of them are very significant as they represent the fact that I began being a steward and began playing the violin during this month several years ago.

There will be Fan Art Friday this Friday. Please look forward to it.
