Fan Art Friday: Wally from Where's Wally by Martin Hanford, Tintin from The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! Today I'll be showing only one fan art. It's actually an old fan art that I created back in 2010. The original drawing has gone but luckily I took precautions and scanned the picture. Back then, I posted it up on the Sweatdrop Forums. The picture isn't seen on the forum so I thought I'd show it here. This Fan art was created using water-colour paints.

The fan art is based on two characters, both of them well-known. One of them is Tintin by Hergé and the other is Wally from the book and cartoon series Where's Wally by Martin Hanford. Both of these series are quite significant because I have watched both of them during my childhood, Where's Wally was probably the first one I watched. I adored the cartoon series and whenever it was time to find him, it was very very difficult. I admired the fact that the people who created the animation when into a huge way of creating scenes where it would be exactly like the book. The books were quite good as well and I can honestly say Martion Hanford has indeed astounded me. Lastly, there were also cards where you also had to find Wally too. At this age now, it's easy to find him as it was back then.
Tintin was indeed another great series. The cartoon was brilliant and the music was a true gem and by the time I reached towards my pre-teens I found a whole range of comic of Tintin at my local library. I read some of them. They were good too. At some point I'll re-draw these characters again. I feel they need a bit of a revival.:

There will be more fan art next week. Thank you for visiting my blog and please leave a comment.
