Summer Story: Angie's Forward Flip 3/3

Hello Everyone, I have now completed the summer story and it can now be shown in it's whole glory on my blog today. This is the continuation of the Winter story, that I created during Christmas time and posted up in January. I chose to do a Summer story as I could not think of a decent Winter story that could continue with the one I shown in January. All three friends of the winter story are present but the main protagonist is Angie who was seen in the previous story drawing her two friends. She a lot younger than she was then as it is a tale of her past. Part of this story is true, where I made and earned a great friend played games with her and also I did a forward flip.

Before I show these images, I thought I show the picture that inspired me to create the story. The concept was conceived during the spring time. With the idea that at some point during the year, the temperature will go sky high, I thought that it was necessary to create the story:

I used orange in different tones since the outline was in orange and scanned each picture. I was a bit iffy about how each page was scanned so I chose to change the brightness and contrast of some of the images. There are no words in these images, so you'll have to look at the images to find out what is happening:

With the success of completing this story, I've decided to create a Mid-Summer Story. It will be based on another one of the three friends which is Demi. (She is seen in the fourth picture with Angie.) It has already been planned out through thumb-nailed sketches. Now, I will need to create the characters as well as find a couple of references. There will also be a prequel before the Mid-Summer Story which is in fact a Dark and Light Story. It will be as similar as the previous Dark and Light Story, but with an huge difference, within the plot as well as the colour scheme. Summer Story: Angie's Forward Flip 2/3

Hello Everyone, I hope you're all having a good week so far. I thought I'd share another two pages worth of the Summer Story: Angie's Forward Flip. As you can see here it has been inked in orange ink pens. I think you can probably guess the colour tone it would be in. It is in it's last stages and will be finished soon so please bear with me. Here are the pages:

It looks quite interesting to see the drawing in front. I'm surprised of how much I've improved, since the first set of pencil sketches.

Hmm... It seems that I should have take extra care when I was drawing...still never the less it still looks OK. I'm I love what I've done with these two so far.

The final images will be shown in it's greater glory and scanned to it's perfection when it's completed. I can't wait to show you all.

Summer Story: Angie's Forward Flip! (^_^) 1/3

Hello Everyone, I hope you are having a great and decent time during the month of June. I thought I'd let you know that the continuation of the Winter Story, will in fact be a Summer Story. But it will be still be based on Angie, who it one of the close friends of Rae. It is still in the works but it will be finished very soon. There are about 24 small pages in total. I thought that I'll show you the first stage of sketches in 2B and HB pencils. Although a mass amount of smudges were made throughout the process, it didn't stop me from producing. (^_^ ) Here are two pages of different parts of the story. Enjoy:

I'm immensely pleased with these scenes that I had to show it to you.

I was also quite proud of these scenes too. I'm really looking forward to what it would look like in colour.

Snow Story from Late 2012

Hello Everyone, sorry for the long hiatus. I felt pretty bad for not posting up any work so to make up for lost time I decided to post up what I did throughout late November and December. This is a Short nineteen page story about three characters from a comic that I made up back in 2009. These three girls Rae (frizzy hair), Demi (short hair) and Angie (long hair) decided to do something fun and exciting during the Christmas Period. Although in London it did not snow but in areas of the world were filled with snow, I felt that the least I could do was do a snow story. It is inked in monochromatic blue drawing in and the outline in 0.7 fine blue pen. Here are the first twelve images:

There will be a continuation of the story. This one will be based on Rae's friend Angie and a particular period of the past. This will be shown hopefully if it snows in London. I assume that it would be in February because it is during this month that it gets much much colder.
