Fan Art Friday: Rupert Bear by Mary Tourtel and Alfred Bestall, Birthday Picture for Japanezejusu, Charlotte from Wild and West and Raine and Len from DNA (DeoxyRiboNuclearAnarchy) by CowgirlEm

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! (Apologises for not posting last week. I've been very busy at work.) Today I'll be posting up four fan arts today.  Two of them were pencil sketches and then inked in blue ink and water-colour paints.  The other two were created using Photoshop.

This is another series that I found in my childhood and sometime this year I bought a very old annual from the 50's of Rupert Bear. I remember watching the series and it always bought a smile to my face. Rupert faced some very tough challenges but he prevailed with his friends by his side.

This drawing is in the same form as the blue drawings that I previously created. When I completed this drawing, it really wasn't what I expected. I left it for a couple of days and looked at the drawing with fresh eyes I really liked it:

The next fan art is of a drawing that I used for a birthday card. The birthday card was for my friend Destiny. We met at one of the J-Melo fan meetings that took place four years ago here in the UK. She has her own blog where she talks about Japanese culture and Korean culure. As well as the UK culture. Also she writes in English and Japanese. The third fan art is of another friend of mine that I managed to meet on the way to work at Highbury and Islington station. She is a professional dancer and she was on her way to Dubai for work too. I was surprised and gobsmacked. She talked about a bit of her career of how she became to where she was now and she informed me and also herself that she will never give up. We exchanged blog addresses and hopefully at some point she will check out this post to see this drawing of her. I used water-colour paints and created the outline on Photoshop. The fourth and fan art for today is of DNA (DeoxyRiboNuclearAnarchy) by CowgirlEm. This is a continuation of the previous fan arts that I created last year in November. I saw CowgirlEm at the London Comic Con last weekend and I bought the second volume of the series. She is currently working on volume three and it will be out very soon. I have yet to read the second volume  but I have a great feeling that it is going to be really good. You can look at her Deviant page by clicking here. Fan Art Friday: Len and Raine from DNA by CowgirlEm and Usagi and Mamoru-Chan from Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeguchi

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! I hope you're all having a brilliant week so far and are making good and great plans for the Christmas holidays. As I mentioned int last week's Fan Art Friday post. The drawings that will be shown from now until 27th will be Christmas themed. This is because I'm currently in the Christmas mood. Also I'm going to make a habit make each fan art character in historical clothes. Today I'll be showing two fan art drawings. These drawings were created with a light lilac coloured pencil and coloured inks.

I have added a boarder that I created on Photoshop  to add effect. It didn't take a while to make.

The first fan art is of Len and Raine from the webcomic and manga DNA which is known as DeoxyRiboNuclearAnarchy by CowgirlEm. This was the third DNA fan art that I created after the previous two. Since this one was suited for Christmas so I thought I add coloured inks to it. I'm quite pleased of what has come out:

The last and final fan art for today is of Usagi and Mamoru-chan from Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeguchi. The drawing is okay I guess but I felt the least I could do was post this up. The border was added and this made the drawing stand out a whole lot more. I will be creating more Sailor Moon fan art, whenever necessary. I ADORE this manga and I hope to add it to my collection at some point. I'm just not so sure when:

Fan Art Friday: DNA (DeoxyRiboNuclearAnarchy) By CowgirlEm

Happy Fan Art Friday Everyone! I hope you're all had or having a great Friday today! These two works were drawn as pencil sketches then black and white shades of colour was added on Photoshop. Both fan arts are based on the manga DNA which is also called DeoxyRiboNuclearAnarchy . It is by the comic artist CowgirlEm . I bought the comic at the London Comic Con in October and it was awesome to meet her in person. They both follow the same procedure as Emma Viecieli's Dragon Heir Fan Art.

Since I've only read the first chapter, I thought I'd show all four of the main characters. Helix is seen in the first picture beating Len's score in a popular game and Mynx looking at the damage he's created after he's won:

There will be more Fan Art next week! I did create one more DNA fan art but since it fitted the Christmas season, It will not be shown either next week or during the month of December.
