Head Casts Sketches, Clothes and objects from the Victoria and Albert Museum

Hello Everyone! I hope you're all having a brilliant November so far. Two Sundays ago, I went to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and it was awesome. I did some sketches on clothes, a couple of objects and head cast sketches.

The first batch of sketches are of clothes from China:

The next batch of sketches are clothes are from Korea and England:

These sketches are of objects from China, Korea and England:

The final sketches for today are of Head sketches. All of the are women:

This final sketch is part of a huge sculpture. I'm thinking of creating more sketches of this piece just like I did with the last Head Cast that I did a while ago.:

There will be Fan Art Friday tomorrow. I hope to show you more fan art from comics or books that are great! Also Happy Thanksgiving!

Head Cast Sketches in Early November (^o^)

Hello Everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the month of November so far although were at the beginning. I thought I'd share some more head cast sketches from the National Portrait Gallery yesterday afternoon:

Out of the ones that have been shown in this post. This one would have to be my favourite. It most definitely looks like the actual marble cast itself:

As I've previously mentioned in my last post it will be the last time that I'll be doing head casts from this gallery. From next Sunday I'll be at the Victoria and Albert Museum doing sketches of clothes. But don't worry this isn't the end of the head cast sketches I will be making more at some point.

Thank you for visiting my blog and please leave a comment! (^_^)

Head Cast Sketches for the last week of October

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a brilliant month. Here are some more head sketches that I created from the past two Sundays from the National Portrait Gallery.. (This does not include the Sunday that has just gone.) Throughout the past three months, there was a reason why I chose to do these sketches of the casts. I yearned to improve on portraiture and also improve on drawing men. This of course turned out to be very successful. As this is the last couple of days until the end of this month I thought I share them with you:

Hopefully next Sunday, I'll be making as many head casts sketches as I possibly can, because I'll be moving on to creating more sketches on other things. I'm probably thinking either Jewellery or maybe clothes from different countries around the world. This might be done randomly. I might probably make more head casts sketches again at some point as I've had a lot of fun making these ones.

Once again Thanks for visiting my blog and please leave a comment! \(^0^)/

More Head Sketches! (^_^)

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing OK, and that you're enjoying October so far, I thought I'd show you some more head sketches. I did mention in my last post, that I will making more head cast sketches of men but I wanted to do at least another two women. One of them will show at the start and the other at the end.:

I thought that I will show the same favourite head cast again but draw her from a side view. It proved to work but I made a couple of mistakes but all in all it still turned out to be really good.

I will be making more Head Casts from the National Portrait Gallery next Sunday. I'm quite excited about this. I might include some portrait too. ^_^
